Davis Polk advised the lead managers in connection with a green bond offering by ING Groep N.V. of $1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.625% fixed-rate senior notes due 2026 and €1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 2.500% fixed-rate senior notes due 2030 under its €55 billion program for the issuance of debt instruments. The dollar-denominated notes were issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S and the euro-denominated notes were issued pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The proceeds of the notes will be used to finance environmentally friendly projects.
