We advised the underwriters on the investment-grade debt offering

Davis Polk advised the joint book-running managers and representatives of the several underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Hormel Foods Corporation of $950 million principal amount of 0.650% notes due 2024, $750 million principal amount of 1.700% notes due 2028 and $600 million principal amount of 3.050% notes due 2051.

Hormel Foods is primarily engaged in the production of a variety of meat and food products and the marketing of those products throughout the United States and internationally. Hormel Foods has continually expanded their product portfolio through organic growth, new product development and acquisitions.
