Davis Polk is representing GoDaddy Inc. in an ongoing case before the U.S. Tax Court related to claims for research credits.

GoDaddy Inc. is a publicly traded internet domain registry, domain registrar and web hosting company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, and incorporated in Delaware. As of 2023, GoDaddy is the world’s fifth largest web host by market share, with over 62 million registered domains.

The Davis Polk tax controversy team includes partner Mario J. Verdolini, counsel Christopher A. Baratta and associates Tyler Scheiner and Jeff Metzger. All members of the Davis Polk team are based in the New York office.
