We are advising FMC on the transaction

Davis Polk is advising FMC Corporation on its agreement to sell FMC India Private Limited to Crystal Crop Protection Limited for $252 million, subject to customary adjustments for cash, debt and working capital. The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2026, subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions.

FMC Corporation is a global agricultural sciences company dedicated to helping growers produce food, feed, fiber and fuel for an expanding world population while adapting to a changing environment. FMC’s crop protection solutions include biologicals, crop nutrition, digital and precision agriculture.

Established in 1994, Crystal Crop Protection is an India-based crop solutions company with agrochemicals and seeds at the core of its offerings. It operates a fully integrated model spanning crop protection research and development, seed breeding, technology-enabled manufacturing and pan-India distribution.
