FMC $252 million sale of FMC India to Crystal Crop Protection

Davis Polk is advising FMC Corporation on its agreement to sell FMC India Private Limited to Crystal Crop Protection Limited for $252 million, subject to customary adjustments for cash, debt and working capital. The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2026, subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions.

Established in 1994, Crystal Crop Protection is an India-based crop solutions company with agrochemicals and seeds at the core of its offerings. It operates a fully integrated model spanning crop protection research and development, seed breeding, technology-enabled manufacturing and pan-India distribution.
