On April 29, 2026, Davis Polk head of Corporate & Transactional Pro Bono Jillian Berman will be among the speakers at Fordham University School of Law and Volunteer of Legal Service’s inaugural NYC Small Business Forum. The Forum will bring together a diverse array of professionals who support NYC’s small business community to discuss projects in development to help address challenges small businesses are facing today. Jillian will present on the growing problem facing small business owners who have defaulted on COVID-era Small Business Administration loans, and how attorneys can advise these businesses on their loan obligations, default consequences, and resolution options.
