Davis Polk lawyers speak at 2026 ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting
On March 25, 2026, Davis Polk partner and Antitrust & Competition practice co-head Art Burke, partners Jarrett Arp and Nate Asker, counsel Caroline Ziser Smith and associate Leigh Terry Brinkerhoff will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association’s 2026 Antitrust Spring Meeting.
Art will speak on “The Future of Brown Shoe” panel. The panel will discuss Brown Shoe’s evolving role within the spectrum of available market definition tools.
Jarrett will speak on the “Hybrid Relationships: Cartel or Collaboration?” panel. Topics discussed will include recent cases, enforcement trends and tips for counseling clients who have both vertical and horizontal relationships.
Nate will speak on the “Out of Control? Minority Shareholders Feel Heat” panel. The panel will review high-profile antitrust investigations of minority shareholders and provide advice on how to navigate increasingly rocky investor waters.
Caroline with speak on the “Sustainable Cooperation, a Double-Edged Sword” panel. The panel will highlight how “green cartels” may breach antitrust laws if they lead to price fixing, output limits or exclusion of market participants.
Leigh is a Spring Meeting Vice Chair and will speak on the “Fundamentals – Antitrust” panel. Topics discussed will include the core elements of U.S. laws and institutions, basic economic principles and competition law outside the United States.
