On October 15, 2025, Davis Polk AML/CFT head Dan Stipano will be among the speakers at the American Bankers Association’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Conference. Dan will moderate the “Open or Closed?  Navigating Account Closures in a New Regulatory Era” panel. The program will highlight how banks can manage account closures involving high-risk or sensitive customers while minimizing legal exposure and maintaining institutional commitments, in consideration of the regulatory changes under the August 2025 Executive Order. Dan will also speak on the “Third Party Risk - BaaS and Beyond” recorded session.
