Davis Polk Chair and Managing Partner Neil Barr was named to The Lawyer’s 2026 “Hot 100” list. In recognizing Neil, the publication highlighted Davis Polk as a “truly Global Elite player” and discussed the firm’s recent successes, including the expansion of the firm’s Investment Management, Finance, Emerging Companies/Venture Capital and Sports practices, as well as significant growth in London and California.

The Lawyer also highlighted Neil’s role as a key adviser on major law firm mergers, including advising Cadwalader on its merger with Hogan Lovells – the largest law firm combination in history – and advising Ashurst on its $2.7 billion merger with Perkins Coie.
