Davis Polk was named among Law360’s “Firms of the Year” for steering some of the largest deals of 2025, such as Intra-Cellular Therapies $14.6 billion acquisition by Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk’s proposed $9.1 billion acquisition of Metsera and the $1.08 billion acquisition of 590 Madison Avenue by RXR Realty and Elliott Investment Management. The honorees took home the most 2025 “Practice Group of the Year” wins from the publication.

Davis Polk chair and managing partner Neil Barr said, “Davis Polk aims to maintain a culture of excellence and teamwork that ultimately sets the firm apart from other firms in the industry.”

“We work exceedingly hard to earn our place in the market as among the best in every area in which we practice,” he said. “And we are proud that clients — new and established — this year continued to call upon us for their most sophisticated, sensitive, bet-the-company situations.”

Law360 named Davis Polk a 2025 “Practice Group of the Year” in five practice areas:

  • Capital Markets
  • Life Sciences
  • Real Estate
  • Tax
  • Technology

The awards recognize the teams behind litigation wins and significant transactional work that resonated throughout the legal industry this past year.
