Davis Polk and associate Jose Lucena-Rebollo are shortlisted for the Expansión Awards for the Practice of Business Law.

The firm is shortlisted for the “Major Deal of 2024” award for its work advising BBVA on its takeover bid of Sabadell as well as for the Leading Firm in the “Banking” category.

Jose is listed as a finalist for “Best Young Lawyer of the Year” for his work advising companies, funds and investment banks on cross-border M&A and debt and equity capital markets transactions.  

The Expansión Awards for the Practice of Business Law will be presented on June 19, 2025, in Madrid.
