Davis Polk and the firm’s lawyers have been named finalists in several categories as part of the American Lawyer’s annual Industry Awards. The Industry Awards highlight the legal industry’s most impactful and important work of the past year and recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, firms and in-house legal departments.

The firm is a finalist for “Best Law Firm of the Year,” which honors a law firm that had an exceptional year across its service offerings, netting big wins and showing a commitment to and progress in an area not solely related to its client work.

Davis Polk Chair and Managing Partner Neil Barr is a finalist for “Managing Partner of the Year.”

Davis Polk partner Andrew Ahern is a finalist for “Corporate Lawyer of the Year: Capital and Solutions.”

In addition, Davis Polk is shortlisted for three awards as part of the publication’s biennial “Corporate Practices of the Year”:

  • Best Corporate Practice of the Year
  • Best Corporate Practice: Tech/Telecom
  • Best Corporate Practice: Health Care/Pharmaceutical

The awards will be presented on November 12, 2026, in New York.
