Davis Polk partner Dan Gibbons has been named a finalist for “Young Lawyer of the Year (Corporate)” at the American Lawyer’s 2025 Industry Awards.

In the first half of 2025, Dan advised on a series of high-profile capital markets deals including Circle’s $1.05 billion IPO and NYSE listing, Galaxy’s corporate reorganization and Nasdaq listing, and the initial public offerings of three series of Nasdaq-listed preferred stock by Strategy totaling $2.3 billion.

In 2024, Dan co-led the establishment of the largest ATM program in capital markets history – Strategy’s $21 billion common stock at-the-market offering. He also advised Grayscale on the successful uplisting of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust and the Grayscale Ethereum Trust to NYSE Arca as the largest bitcoin and ethereum ETFs in the world, respectively.

The winners will be announced on November 13, 2025, in New York.
