As a member of Davis Polk’s Trusts and Estates Department, Ms. Ryan focuses on multigenerational estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, including individuals with multinational contacts. She has extensive experience advising individuals and financial institutions in connection with the administration of complex estates and trusts, including in tax planning, tax controversies and addressing the concerns of beneficiaries. She also counsels individuals in connection with a broad range of personal and financial matters, including charitable giving, the creation and operation of private foundations, and the management and disposition of art and other collectibles.

In her pro bono practice, Ms. Ryan has advised not-for-profit organizations, including arts organizations, education organizations and scholarship funds.
