Ms. Smith is counsel in Davis Polk’s Litigation Department. She has extensive experience representing multinational companies and financial institutions with respect to anti-corruption and compliance matters, including advising clients on due diligence in connection with acquisitions and joint ventures, third party engagements, risk assessments, corporate governance issues and the implementation of effective compliance programs. She also provides advice on civil, criminal and internal investigations relating to alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”), fraud and other financial crimes.
