Our corporate practice emphasizes capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, SEC compliance, IP strategy and counseling, executive compensation and tax matters. We have been involved in many of the most notable securities offerings and M&A transactions involving companies in California. Our IPO practice is particularly active, ranking first among law firms for California IPOs based on Thomson Reuters deal-value data for the decade ended 2017. We are also regularly involved in all manner of debt securities transactions, including investment grade, high yield and convertible notes offerings.
Our litigators focus on a full range of antitrust, securities, intellectual property and commercial matters, representing a wide variety of clients in their most complex matters in courtrooms across the country.
We also have substantial experience in advising management teams and boards of directors on corporate defense and governance matters, often bringing together lawyers from a variety of legal disciplines to advise clients on the most sensitive board matters.
Lawyers in the Northern California office are recognized by Chambers and other publications both nationally and in California and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues in New York, Washington DC, Europe, Asia and Brazil to deliver specialized knowledge, sophisticated advice and first-rate service.
