A trial team led by Davis Polk partner Jay Neukom, alongside Debevoise & Plimpton, received runner-up honors in AmLaw Litigation Daily’s “Litigator of the Week” column for securing the dismissal of billion-dollar trade secrets claims against StoneX. 

The column noted, “Rival BTIG sued StoneX after it hired several former BTIG employees claiming StoneX misappropriated proprietary trading algorithms and software. But after a three-month-long arbitration where BTIG was seeking treble damages on $842,000,000 in claims, plus punitive damages, a FINRA panel last week awarded BTIG just $1,865,917.58.”
