Davis Polk advised the joint lead managers in connection with the debut Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of senior notes by Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd., which consisted of $600 million aggregate principal amount of 3.350% senior notes due 2021. The notes are listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Seven & i Holdings is the holding company for the Seven & i Group. Through its subsidiaries, Seven & i Holdings is engaged in a wide range of retail businesses centered on its global chain of 7-Eleven convenience stores, including in the United States, and extending to other well-known retail establishments, operating primarily in Japan, including supermarkets, department stores and specialty stores under various brands. Seven & i Holdings is also engaged in financial services through its subsidiary Seven Bank, Ltd., which operates a large network of ATMs located in 7-Eleven convenience stores and other locations including subway stations, shopping malls and airports.
