Oliver Smith discusses M&A deal activity with Bloomberg Law

Davis Polk partner and Mergers & Acquisitions practice head Oliver Smith discussed M&A deal activity and the resilience of the market despite ongoing uncertainty with Bloomberg Law.

Oliver noted that despite macroeconomic and geopolitical unease, deals have continued to move through the pipeline. “At some level with the uncertainty, you value it, you judge it, you wrap your arms around it, but then you get on with business,” he explained. “Strategics and sponsors are really getting to that point where they can handle some uncertainty.”
