Davis Polk partner and IP & Commercial Transactions practice head Frank Azzopardi was quoted in Sports Business Journal from a panel at SBJ’s Intercollegiate Athletics Forum on private equity investments in college sports. Frank discussed the influence of private capital in collegiate athletics, deal structures, governance implications, and the long-term impact of private equity on the mission and model of college sports.

“It’s not a straightforward exercise, and I think this is really the beginning of the exploration rather than the end,” Frank explained.
