Legal Week and The American Lawyer recognized Davis Polk at the 2019 Transatlantic Legal Awards. The awards, which are judged by a panel of senior editors and reporters from the United States and the U.K., aim to identify the law firms, lawyers and in-house legal departments leading the way in the world’s two largest and most competitive legal markets.

Davis Polk won “M&A Team of the Year (Mega Deal)” for its role in advising Comcast on its £30.6 billion acquisition of Sky. The award recognizes a single M&A deal valued at £1bn or more that involved significant lawyering on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Transatlantic Deal Awards were presented on June 13, 2019, in London.
