Davis Polk shortlisted for multiple 2023 Asia Legal Awards

Davis Polk has been shortlisted in seven categories for the 2023 Asia Legal Awards, presented by Law.com International. The awards recognize the most important transactions and cases with the most complex and outstanding legal work in Asia.

Notably, the firm was shortlisted for both “M&A Firm of the Year” and “Securities Firm of the Year.”
Davis Polk was also shortlisted for:

• “Cross-border M&A Deal of the Year ($2 billion+)”  – Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group’s $8 billion sale of core regional banking franchise to U.S. Bancorp
• “Finance Deal of the Year” –  $4.3 billion take private of 51job inc.
• “Intra-Asia M&A Deal of the Year” – China National Bluestar Solar $770 million business sale to Reliance New Energy Solar Ltd
• “Securities Deal of the Year: Equity” – Nippon Paint Holdings Co.’s $1.8 billion overseas offering
• “TMT Deal of the Year” – $4.3 billion take private of 51job inc.

The awards will be presented on March 30, 2023, in Singapore.
