Financial Times has shortlisted Davis Polk as part of its Innovative Lawyers Asia-Pacific 2021 awards. The firm is a finalist in the “Social justice, inclusion and diversity” category for advising Oxfam Hong Kong on Hong Kong’s first-ever “Pay-for-Success” social impact bond, which allowed Oxfam to expand a program that addresses poverty and social exclusion issues of non-Chinese speaking individuals in Hong Kong by promoting Chinese instruction in kindergartens. This award recognizes firms addressing the challenges of social injustice or social inequality, including inclusion and diversity initiatives.

The awards will be announced virtually on May 13, 2021.
