Davis Polk deals shortlisted for Latin Lawyer’s 2024 Deal of the Year Awards 

Four Davis Polk deals are shortlisted for the 2024 Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year Awards. The awards recognize complex deals, taking into consideration the value, timeframe, legal creativity, political and regulatory sensitivity, and number of jurisdictions to which the deal relates.

Davis Polk advised on the following transactions selected as “Deal of the Year” finalists:

• Deal of the Year: Capital Markets – Mexican real estate business Vesta launches IPO on NYSE
• Deal of the Year: Mergers & Acquisitions (Private Companies) – Natura sells Aesop for US$2.5 billion
• Deal of the Year: Mergers & Acquisitions (Public Companies) – General Atlantic and Dragoneer take Brazil’s Arco private
• Deal of the Year: Restructuring – Samarco Mineração enforces judicial reorganization plan

The winners will be announced on May 9, 2024, in São Paulo.
