Davis Polk advised ARM Holdings plc in connection with its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Carbon Design Systems, Inc. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Cambridge, England, ARM designs scalable, energy efficient-processors and related technologies that lie at the heart of advanced digital products, from wireless, networking and consumer entertainment solutions to imaging, automotive, security and storage devices. ARM’s technology enables the creation of new markets and transformation of industries and society. Carbon Design Systems is a supplier of accurate virtual prototype solutions and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
