Davis Polk advised the underwriter in connection with the $28.8 million SEC-registered secondary offering of 1,500,000 shares of common stock of BMC Stock Holdings, Inc. The common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “BMCH.”

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, BMC is a diversified lumber and building materials distributor and solutions provider that sells to new construction and repair and remodeling contractors. BMC’s primary products are lumber and lumber sheet goods, millwork, doors, flooring, windows, structural components such as engineered wood products, trusses and wall panels and other exterior products. BMC offers a broad range of products sourced through a strategic network of suppliers, which together with BMC’s various solution-based services, represent approximately 50% of the construction cost of a typical new home.
