Saagar advises public and private companies, boards and special committees on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, investments, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other complex corporate transactions, with a particular focus on public company M&A. He also counsels companies and management teams in connection with shareholder activism, proxy contests, unsolicited takeover offers and corporate governance matters. Saagar has advised clients on “bet-the-company” transactions across industries including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, energy, and technology, media and telecommunications.
