Pro Bono Counsel for Racial Justice Initiatives. Leads our efforts to create systemic change to address racial and social injustice and inequality.

Diane is our Pro Bono Counsel for Racial Justice Initiatives. She works with lawyers across the firm and with our nonprofit and community partners to develop, supervise and promote matters that reflect our commitment to creating systemic change to address racial and social injustice and inequality.

Prior to joining Davis Polk in 2020, Diane was Director of Community Engagement and Senior Legal Counsel for the Justice Collaborative, where she helped lead strategic campaigns aimed at policies driving dehumanization and extreme vulnerability, including mass incarceration, lack of healthcare, vulnerable employment and the housing crisis. She also consulted with elected officials to develop policies to identify and eliminate drivers of incarceration and implement decarceral policies throughout the criminal legal process.

Earlier, Diane worked in the Civil Rights Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General and the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society.
