David is a member of our Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and White Collar Defense & Investigations practices. His practice focuses on AI and data privacy governance, product counseling for technologies that use AI or implicate personal data, and regulatory compliance and investigations. He advises companies in the design, implementation, evaluation, testing and enhancement of governance, compliance and risk management programs, and works with product, engineering and business teams on the development and launch of AI-enabled and data-driven products and services, from initial design through deployment.

David guides clients through compliance with the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, data privacy and consumer protection laws, and defends companies, boards and individuals in regulatory investigations and enforcement matters in these areas. He has represented clients in matters brought by the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission and other federal, state and international authorities. His broader investigations experience includes cryptocurrency and decentralized finance, complex finance and the capital markets, FCPA and anticorruption, and SPAC-related and post-merger litigation.
