Adam represents clients in civil litigation trials and appeals in federal and state courts. His experience includes intellectual property litigation, complex commercial disputes, antitrust matters and consumer class actions.

Experience

Adam’s representations prior to joining Davis Polk include:

  • Boardriders, Oaktree Capital Group, and Brookfield Asset Management in obtaining dismissal of trademark, antitrust and unfair competition claims 
  • Christie’s in obtaining dismissal of a putative nationwide class action and declaration that the California Resale Royalties Act was unconstitutional 
  • Head USA in its successful defense of claims by Bode Miller and Bomber regarding sponsorship agreements with high-profile athletes
  • Tower Semiconductor and its affiliates in defending against an action seeking to prematurely terminate its commercial lease, and in a separate action in obtaining reversal of denial of motion to dismiss patent claims in Federal Circuit, which was named an “Impact Case of the Year” in 2026 by Managing IP. 
  • Waldencast in obtaining dismissal of California tort claims arising from a dispute over cosmetics distribution rights in Vietnam
  • A former head of government in obtaining dismissal of a Section 1782 action seeking his deposition and documents for use in foreign proceedings
  • A social media company and its executives in providing general litigation advice and obtaining a successful outcome in arbitration against wrongful termination and whistleblower claims 
  • Twenty-First Century Fox in successful defense of claims relating to acquisition of entertainment company
