Represents clients in complex project development, financing and M&A transactions, primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

As part of our infrastructure finance team, Kailash represents financial institutions, sponsors, developers, private equity funds, private credit funds and other investors and market participants in connection with all phases of development and financing of projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His work spans digital infrastructure, conventional power, renewables, midstream oil & gas, LNG, battery storage, battery and semiconductor manufacturing and other infrastructure projects. He regularly advises on commercial loans, syndicated loans, private placements, high-yield and project bonds, tax equity transactions and tax credit transfers, direct lending arrangements, joint ventures and M&A transactions.

Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure
  • DataBank on a $800 million corporate revolving credit facility
  • Lenders in $2.7+ billion in project financings to Rowan Digital Infrastructure for the construction of data centers in Maryland and Texas
  • Lambda in its $1 billion senior secured credit facility to finance the acquisition of GPU assets, other working capital and general corporate purposes
  • Lenders in $4.5 billion project financings to Switch for the construction of turnkey data centers near Reno, Nevada (PFI’s 2024 Americas Data Centre Deal of the Year)
  • Edged Compute on its $1.3 billion rule 144A / Regulation S notes offering
Renewables
  • Terra-Gen in two phases of $2 billion construction and tax equity financings of, and sale of equity interests in phase 1A of, the Edwards-Sanborn project, N. America’s largest stand-alone solar + BESS project (PFI’s 2022 Americas Renewables Deal of the Year)*
  • Lenders in $3 billion construction, term and tax equity financings of Vineyard Wind 1, the first commercial scale, 800 MW offshore wind farm in the United States (PFI’s 2021 Global ESG Deal of the Year)*

  • Lenders in $1.15 billion financing to Pasadena Performance Products, LLC as part of Next Wave Energy Partners, LP, to refinance an ethylene dimerization and alkylate production facility (IJGlobal’s 2025 Downstream Deal of the Year)
  • $979 million term loan B repricing amendment for Hamilton Projects Acquiror
  • Venture Global in $5.8 billion Calcasieu Pass LNG construction financing of LNG liquefaction and export project (PFI’s 2019 North America Deal of Year)*
