Keith D. Edelman
Represents companies and individuals in government investigations. Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General and in-house counsel.
Keith represents companies, boards and individuals in government enforcement matters. He also conducts internal investigations and advises clients on evolving enforcement and regulatory risk.
Before joining Davis Polk, Keith spent over a decade at the U.S. Department of Justice, including as the second-in-command of the Criminal Division; Deputy Assistant Attorney General over the Fraud Section and Money Laundering, Narcotics and Forfeiture Section; and supervisor in the FCPA Unit. In these roles, he oversaw white collar matters involving healthcare, securities and trade fraud, international bribery and Bank Secrecy Act violations. He also played a leading role in formulating DOJ’s corporate enforcement policies. Keith previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York. Keith also worked in-house at Meta Platforms, where he handled regulatory inquiries and conducted internal investigations.
Keith is admitted to practice in New York and is practicing in DC under the supervision of partners of the firm.
