We advised SK Inc. and its subsidiary Golden Pearl on the transaction
Davis Polk advised Golden Pearl EV Solutions Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SK Inc., in connection with matters relating to its ownership interest in Londian Wason New Energy Tech Inc., as part of SK Inc.’s portfolio management initiatives.

SK has a diverse portfolio with more than 175 affiliate companies, including SK Hynix, SK Innovation, SK Telecom, SK Square, SK Ecoplant and SK Biopharmaceuticals.
Golden Pearl is a wholly owned Hong Kong-incorporated investment holding subsidiary of SK Inc. It functions as a special purpose vehicle created to channel strategic overseas investments into electric vehicle supply chain and battery material markets.
Londian Wason is a leading industrial group engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and sale of new energy and electronic materials. The company is the world’s largest supplier of lithium-ion battery copper foil by sales volume as of 2025, with a 7.6% global market share. Davis Polk also advised Londian Wason on its IPO and listing on the New York Stock Exchange in August 2026.
