Schellman strategic investment from Goldman Sachs Alternatives
We are advising Lightyear Capital and Schellman on the transaction
Davis Polk is advising Lightyear Capital and its portfolio company Schellman on Schellman’s strategic investment from Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Following the transaction, Lightyear Capital, which has been the majority investor in Schellman since 2021, will remain a minority investor in the company. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
