Merck $6 billion notes offering
We advised the underwriters on the offering
Davis Polk advised the representatives of the underwriters in connection with an SEC-registered debt offering by Merck & Co., Inc. of $6 billion aggregate principal amount of notes. The notes were offered in seven tranches, including floating-rate notes maturing in 2028 and fixed-rate notes maturing in 2028, 2031, 2033, 2036, 2046 and 2056.
Merck is a global healthcare company that delivers innovative health solutions through its prescription medicines, including biologic therapies, vaccines and animal health products. Its operations are principally managed on a product basis and include two operating segments, pharmaceutical and animal health.
