Davis Polk advised the managers in connection with a Rule 144A / Regulation S senior notes offering by ING Bank N.V. of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.555% fixed rate senior notes due 2029 and $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.711% fixed rate green senior notes due 2031 under its €70 billion program for the issuance of debt instruments. The proceeds of the 2029 notes will be used for general corporate purposes, and the proceeds of the green bond will be used to finance environmentally friendly projects.
