As Chief Operating Officer, Tenley leads Davis Polk’s global business teams. She oversees the firm’s talent, finance, operations and administrative support functions and works closely with the Chair and Management Committee to develop and implement strategic initiatives firmwide. Previously, she served as the firm’s Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer. Tenley began her legal career as a corporate lawyer at Davis Polk and then served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Sotheby’s, before returning to the firm in 2015.

Tenley received an A.B. in Classics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
