Vanessa represents financial institutions and corporate borrowers in a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including leveraged and investment-grade acquisition financings, asset-based credit facilities, debt restructurings, spinoffs, working capital financings, debtor-in-possession financings, exit financings, and other secured and unsecured financings.

Vanessa is recognized as an Up and Coming lawyer and a Next Generation Partner by Chambers USA and Legal 500 U.S., respectively. In 2022, she was named a “Rising Star” by Law360. The Partnership for New York City named her a 2022 David Rockefeller Fellow. Also in 2022, she was listed among Crain’s New York Business’s “Notable Women in Law,” Savoy’s “Most Influential Black Lawyers,” IFLR1000’s “Women Leaders” and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s “Rising Stars.”
