Mr. Swanson is an associate in Davis Polk’s Financial Institutions Group. He advises U.S. and non-U.S. GSIBs, regional banks and other financial institutions on a variety of financial regulatory matters, including the Economic Growth, Regulatory Reform and Consumer Protection Act (S.2155), the U.S. Basel III capital, liquidity and capital planning rules, resolution stay requirements for qualified financial contracts, and regulatory enforcement actions. Mr. Swanson’s practice also includes providing regulatory advice to bank holding companies in the context of M&A transactions.
