Ms. Suen is an associate in Davis Polk’s Litigation Department, resident in Hong Kong. Her practice focuses on commercial dispute resolution. She has assisted clients with a wide range of matters, including shareholder and joint venture disputes, insurance litigation, professional negligence claims, arbitration and related court proceedings as well as investigations.

  • Advising Single Buoy Moorings Inc on its $1.3 billion construction insurance claim in the English High Court against 7 groups of insurers*
  • Advising Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers in successfully resisting arbitral award set-aside proceedings brought by China International Fund in the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal of Hong Kong. This case is one of the leading authorities in Hong Kong on the rights of appeal in applications for setting aside or enforcement of arbitral awards*
  • Advising companies and shareholders (both individuals and corporates) in shareholder and joint venture disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals in Hong Kong and elsewhere, which involved unfair prejudice petitions, Mareva injunctions, summary judgment applications and so on and issues in the employment, mental health, probate, regulatory and other areas
  • Advising financial institutions and multinational corporates in responding to investigations by regulators and authorities in Hong Kong, the PRC, the U.S. and Europe
