Davis Polk today announced that Veerle Roovers has joined the firm as counsel in its Insolvency and Restructuring Group in New York.
Ms. Roovers joins Davis Polk from Jones Day, where she was Of Counsel in the Business Restructuring & Reorganization Practice, focusing on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy matters.
She earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and has an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University, a Master’s in Corporate Law from the Catholic University of Brussels and a DEA from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
