Davis Polk and eight of the firm’s lawyers were honored at the Law Society of Hong Kong’s 2019 Pro Bono and Community Work Recognition Program.

Davis Polk received a Gold Award, in recognition of the firm’s strong commitment to pro bono and community service. This year, lawyers and staff from the Hong Kong office took on a range of important and impactful projects, including appellate and first-instance work with refugees, advocacy for the LGBTI+ community, and providing advice to social enterprises and charities. Davis Polk also received an Improvement Award, in recognition of steadily-increasing pro bono participation by its Hong Kong lawyers. 

In addition, Robyn Crowter was one of two recipients of the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award for her commitment to pro bono activity in Davis Polk’s Hong Kong office and in the Hong Kong legal community. The Law Society also presented Individual Gold Awards to Robyn, counsel Jonathan Chang and associate Joyce Chow. Associates Vivian Chow and Andrea Feuer and trainee solicitors Kate Chan and Lincoln Jim received Individual Silver Awards, and associate Enoch Lee received an Individual Bronze Award.
