On April 27, 2015, the United States Court Of Appeals and the Federal Bar Council’s Public Service Committee will host a lecture with Davis Polk senior counsel and former federal prosecutor Robert B. Fiske, Jr. Mr. Fiske will discuss his illustrious career in government. A Q&A will follow.
Mr. Fiske served as U.S. Attorney (1976-1980) and Assistant U.S. Attorney (1957-1961) for the Southern District of New York and Independent Counsel in the Whitewater Investigation (1994). Through his careers in government and private practice, Mr. Fiske has been involved in many of the most high-profile cases of the past half century, and has served as a mentor and inspiration to hundreds of lawyers who have crossed his path.
Mr. Fiske recently authored Prosecutor, Defender, Counselor: The Memoirs of Robert B. Fiske, Jr., in which he recounts his nearly six decades of legal service.
