Davis Polk associate Trevor Kiviat was among the participants at the Federal Judicial Center and Duke Law School's Forum on Law and Technology. The audience was composed of Article III judges seeking to better understand technology-related issues they may encounter in the courtroom and, more broadly, the technological trends shaping our world.
Panels focused on emerging technologies and the related legal and public policy issues—from artificial intelligence to cryptocurrencies to cybersecurity and data. Kiviat moderated the “Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Law and Policy” panel.
The program was held May 29-31, 2019 at Duke University.
