Davis Polk partners Susan Ervin and Annette Nazareth will be among the speakers at the ABA Business Law Section Derivatives & Futures Law Committee Winter Meeting. The program will be held February 6-8, 2014, in Naples, Florida.
Ervin will speak on the “Going Forward With the Dodd-Frank Act and the CFTC’s Regulations: Repeal, Reform, or Refine?” panel, which will conduct a wrap-up examination of the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on the markets and market participants. Ervin serves as Chair of the Derivatives & Futures Law Committee.
Nazareth will speak on the “Cross-Border (US developments and potential conflicts with foreign law)” panel, which will discuss recent developments and issues regarding the application of the Dodd-Frank Act requirements and CFTC’s regulations to cross-border activities.
