Davis Polk partner Christopher Hockett, counsel Mary Marks and associate Samantha Knox will be among the speakers at the 64th Spring Meeting of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law.
Hockett, head of Davis Polk’s antitrust practice, will speak on the “Private Jury Trials: Reality or Reality TV?” panel, and will also conduct a Fireside Chat with senior competition officials from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
Marks will chair and moderate the panel, “From Algeria to Zimbabwe: Competition in Africa,” which will discuss the influences on substantive merger control tests, public interest provisions, jurisdictional disputes and procedures and timelines.
Knox’s panel, “Pathways to Leadership,” will discuss how to leverage your Section membership, including how to utilize Section resources and maximize opportunities and professional relationships to help advance your career. The program will take place April 5-8, 2016, in Washington DC.
