Davis Polk partner Randall Guynn and associate Jai Massari will be among the speakers at the American Institute of CPAs’ 2015 National Conference on Banks & Savings Institutions. The program will be held September 16-18, 2015, in Washington DC.
Guynn will share his current thoughts on the regulatory landscape and regulatory reform in “Observations on the Regulatory Environment for Financial Institutions.”
Massari will speak on the “Dodd Frank — Volcker Rule Accounting Implications” panel, which will discuss key implementation challenges faced by banks in conforming to the Volcker Rule’s proprietary trading prohibition and restrictions on covered funds activities; accounting-related topics, including trading account and hedging analyses; and issues arising for the accounting treatment of cleared derivatives.
