Davis Polk partners Michael Farber and Rachel Kleinberg will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association Section of Taxation 2014 May Meeting, which will be held May 8-10, 2014, in Washington DC.
Farber will speak on a panel titled “Pilgrim’s Progress, or a Dead-End Street," a discussion of the character issues raised by the Tax Court’s decision in the case of Pilgrim’s Pride v. Commissioner.”
Kleinberg will speak on a two-part Joint Current International Development panel. Part 1 will cover current events in outbound and inbound international taxation, transfer pricing, and Canadian tax issues, and Part 2 will cover current events in outbound and inbound international taxation (including recent legislative and budget proposals and FATCA), transfer pricing, and Canadian tax issues.
