Luigi De Ghenghi and Margaret Tahyar to Speak at Columbia Law School Program on Financial Regulation
October 21, 2016
New York, NY

Davis Polk partners Luigi De Ghenghi and Margaret Tahyar will be among the speakers at Columbia Law School’s “The New Pedagogy of Financial Regulation” program. The program will call attention to major efforts to change how financial regulation is taught to students – especially JDs and MBAs, and explore the view that effective study in the area requires engagement with both the economics of the financial sector as well as the institutional set-up as structured by the law.

Several recent innovations in the teaching of financial regulation will be highlighted, including the first new post-crisis casebook, Financial Regulation: Law and Policy, co-authored by Davis Polk’s Margaret Tahyar, Michael Barr (University Law School) and Howell Jackson (Harvard Law School).

The program will be held on October 21, 2016, in New York.
