Davis Polk partners Greg D. Andres and Linda Chatman Thomsen will be participating in the 31st International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the premier legal and regulatory anti-corruption compliance event, being held in Washington DC on November 17-20, 2014.

Greg D. Andres, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division at the DOJ, will be participating in a panel discussion on how to translate in-country risk assessments into successful policies and procedures in high risk markets. Topics will include developing standard procedures across multiple jurisdictions, creating compliance programs that evolve, identifying successful programs, building internal compliance teams and knowing when to use external resources.

Linda Chatman Thomsen, former Director of the Division of Enforcement at the SEC, will conduct an interactive Q&A session with SEC officials to provide insight on what is driving current FCPA investigations and how cross-border anti-corruption enforcement is reshaping the global compliance landscape.
