Greg Andres to Speak at ABA National Institute on the FCPA

Davis Polk partner Greg Andres will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section and Section of International Law’s Sixth Annual National Institute on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Andres’ panel, “What You Need to Know About the World Bank’s Anti-Corruption Program,” will discuss the Word Bank’s investigation and sanctions process; World Bank rules vs. national law; referrals by the World Bank and other IFIs to the DOJ and other national prosecuting authorities; cooperation with DOJ and other national investigative and prosecutorial agencies; the “cross-debarment” regime; and debarment with conditional release vs. DPAs, and the role of monitors for World Bank contractors and consultants. The program will be held September 18-20, 2013, in Washington DC.
